incentX supports Single Sign-On (SSO) via Okta, allowing your users to log in to incentX using the same credentials they already use across your organization. This eliminates the need to manage a separate password for incentX, and gives administrators a single place to enable or disable access.
Example: Your organization uses Okta to manage access to all your business tools — Salesforce, Slack, and now incentX. Once SSO is configured, your sales team can click "Continue with SSO" on the incentX login page and be signed in automatically via their existing Okta credentials, with no extra password required.
In this step, you will find and add incentX as an application inside your Okta account, then collect the credentials you will need in Step 2.
Log in to Okta at https://login.okta.com/.
In the left sidebar, navigate to Applications > Browse App Catalog and search for incentX.
Click Add Integration, then click Done.
Assign the incentX app to the Users or Groups that should have access. Only assigned users will be able to log in via SSO.
Collect your Okta Auth URL: click your profile icon in the top-right corner of Okta. You will need this in Step 2.
Collect your Client ID and Client Secret: go to Applications > incentX > General tab and copy both values.
Keep these values handy — you will paste them into incentX in the next step.
Now you will enter the Okta credentials from Step 1 into incentX to activate SSO.
Log in to incentX at https://app.incentx.com.
Navigate to Application Settings > System Configuration.
Scroll down to the Single Sign-On section and do the following:
Log out of incentX to test the configuration.
Note: After saving, the SSO login option will appear on the incentX login page. Users assigned in Okta will be able to authenticate via SSO immediately.
Once configuration is complete, this is what the login experience looks like for your users:
Go to https://app.incentx.com and click Continue with SSO.
incentX will redirect you to Okta. Enter your Okta credentials to authenticate.
After successful authentication in Okta, you are automatically signed in to incentX.
