Okta Single Sign On Set Up

Introduction

incentX makes it easier to log in using your Okta SSO login to eliminate the need to remember additional passwords and gives administrators the ability to enable or disable users in one location.

Supported Features

incentX uses the OIDC Authentication (SSO) method and only supports Service provider (SP) initiated flow

Prerequisites

To enable this feature, you will need to have administrative access to both Okta and incentX

Step 1 : Add incentX application in Okta


1. Log in to Okta at https://login.okta.com/  and on the side bar menu, Click on Applications > Browse App Catalog > search for incentX
 


2. Now click on "Add Integration" > Done.


 

3. You can choose to assign the app to Users or Groups that will have access to incentX.
 

4. if you don't already have it, copy your Okta Auth URL from your profile on the top right-hand corner, you will need this information in the next step.

 


5. Along with okta Url , you will need the Okta Client ID and Client Secret. Navigate to Application > Select incentX App > General Tab and copy them both



 

Step 2 : Configure Okta setting in incentX 

1) Login to incentX  https://app.incentx.com . Navigate to > Application Settings > System Configuration.


 



2) In the System Configuration section in incentX go to Single Sign-On option (it's towards the bottom of the page) and then:

I. Toggle switch to "Enable Feature" to the "On" position.
II. Select Okta from the drop-down list in the Single Sign-On field,
III. In the Okta Client Id, Client Secrete and Auth URL, fields paste value you copied in Step 1 above.
IV. Click "Save" and then log out of incentX to test.

 
You have now enabled Okta SSO login for incentX
 

Step 3 : Login using Okta SSO in incentX


      I. Login to incentx using the "Continue with SSO" option.
      


      II. incentX will redirect you to Okta to complete your login.
